Classic Tuna Noodle Casserole

Classic Tuna Noodle Casserole Ingredients 1 cup of celery 1 small onion diced (substitute with green spring onions, red onions or leeks) 1 Tablespoon of Margarine (substitute with Butter or Fat of your choice) 1 can of Tuna (6.5 ounces) (substitute with canned Salmon or similar) 1/2 bag of dry Chow Mein Noodles (2 cups) 1 can of cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup of water 1/2 Teaspoon of pepper 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt *optional 1/2 cup of peanuts, almonds, cashews Cooking Instructions Heat up the oven to 350 degrees to begin On medium heat in a fry pan add margarine or butter, celery and diced onions. Cook until they are tender, about 3 - 5 minutes. Add the tuna, mushroom soup, water, pepper, salt, nuts and mix . Pour into ungreased 1.5 quart size casserole dish, and add the chow mein noodles on top and stir. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes This serves about 4 to 6 people. Awesome with a salad, garlic bread and oranges!

  Sloppy Joe Burger Buns   Ingredients 1 Pound Ground Beef 1 Onion (diced) 1 can Tomato Soup 1/2 Cup Water 1 Tablespoon Mustard 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper Hamburger Buns Cooking Instructions In a large fry pan mix the been and onions and cook until all meat is brown. Drain off the fat and stir in the soup, water, mustard, salt and pepper. Simmer these uncovered for about 3 minutes. Toast the buns and fill will the meat mixture and serve.

Potato and Lentil Soup Recipe Ingredients 1 Tbsp Vegetable oil 1 Onion (chopped) 2 potatoes (peeled and chopped) 1 stalk of celery (chopped) 1 cup of red lentils 1 garlic clove (minced) 1 tsp. dried thyme 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/4 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 4 Cups chicken stock 1 Tbsp parsley (chopped) Cooking Instructions In a large pot heat the oil and cook the onions, potatoes, celery, lentils, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper, and stir frequently as onion softens about 5 minutes. Add the chicken stock and bring all of this to a boil, then reduce the heat to a low simmer and cook about 20 minutes more until the potatoes and lentils are tender. Use the parsley as a garnish when serving, by sprinkling a little on top of the bowl of soup! Serve with a hearty bread, makes a great dinner or lunch.

Spicy Chicken dinner great with flat bread or rice. Ingredients 8 pieces of chicken, legs, thighs, etc. 2 garlic cloves (minced) 1 Tbsp. Cumin 1 Tbsp. Paprika 1 Tbsp. Curry powder 2 tsp allspice 2 tsp pepper 1 tsp thyme 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper Cooking Instructions Place all the chicken pieces into a shallow backing dish. Combine all the spices together in a bowl and  then rub the chicken well with the spices. Cover and refrigerate for 2. 5 hours before using. Place chicken into casserole dish,  which has been greased cover with a lid. Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes then turn halfway,  and bake another 25 minutes. For extra crispy, take off lid last 10 minutes. Make sure juices are running clear, and meat is cooked before consuming. This is a delicious meal, served with rice, flat bread, curry sauce, veggies, enjoy!

Easy to make and delicious treat. Ingredients 1/2 Cup Flour 1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 1/8 tsp pepper 1 Tbsp onion (finely diced) 1 Egg 1/2 cup milk 2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine 1 3/4 cups of raw potatoes that have been grated after peeled 1 clove garlic Cooking Instructions In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together and then add the milk egg and butter. Stir in the potatoes, garlic and onion. Drop into a hot frying pan that has been well greased, a small spoonful Make all the spoonfuls small and fry the potato pancakes until they are  really golden brown on each side. Amazing with sour cream!

Wonderful Bread Recipe

Wonderful Bread Recipe Ingredients 1 1/4 cup warm water 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar 2 Teaspoons Yeast 3 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine 1 Teaspoon Salt 3 Cups Flour Cooking Instructions Combine sugar, water and yeast in a large mixing bowl  and let it sit for 10 minutes in a cool, dry place. This is to activate the yeast. After the yeast is activate, add remaining ingredients to the bowl. Mix ingredients together and form a small ball of dough. Put the dough on a floured counter top and knead for 10 minutes by hand. Place into a large greased bowl, cover and  let rise for 30 minutes or until double in bulk. After it has risen, take dough and put it on counter, punch it down,  then roll out and make a rectangle about 16 x 8 inches. Roll up from the narrow side and pull in the ends,  tuck them under and place into one greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 34 - 36 minutes. Brush with margarine or butter, then cool on rack.

Simple Biscuits ready in half an hour! *Preheat the oven before beginning to 450 F Ingredients 2 Cups Flour 3/4 Tablespoon Baking Powder 3/4 teaspoon Salt 1/2 Cup Margarine or Butter 3/4 Cup Milk Cooking Instructions In a Medium size bowl  Mix  Flour, Baking Powder,  Salt, then add the Margarine and cut it into the flour mixture with a fork,  until it resembles little rice size kernels. Add the milk next, into the middle of the flour mixture,  and mix gently until a small dough ball forms. Put the ball of dough onto a floured counter top  and roll carefully out until 1/2 inch thick. Cut with a knife into small squares or use a  cutter to make small circles (about 12) Place onto an ungreased baking sheet and  bake at 450 F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Tasty recipe for Home Baked B-B-Q Ribs! Ingredients 2 Cups Onions Sliced 1 3/4 Cups Ketchup 1 3/4 Cups Water 1/2 Cup Worcestershire sauce 1/2 Brown Sugar 2 tsp Salt. 4 to 5 pounds of Pork Spareribs  Cooking Instructions First preheat the oven to 275 F. Then Mix together all the ingredients, blend well. Line a large baking pan with tin foil (2 layers) Pour about 1/2 cup of the sauce on bottom of foiled pan Place ribs into the pan and pour more sauce and Rub meat until completely covered on both sides. Use about 1/2 cup of sauce and reserve the rest in fridge. Wash hands then cover meat with another layer of tin foil, creating a seal. Place ribs into the oven at 275 F for 3 hours After 3 hours take them out and flip over in pan and cover in another 1/2 cup of sauce or remaining sauce and baste. Cover again with foil and put back into oven. Turn oven up to 350 F and bake ribs for another hour. Serve Warm with extra BBQ sauce for dipping.

Delicious Macaroni Salad Ingredients 2 Cups Cooked Macaroni 2 Tomatoes (diced) 1 Green Onion (chopped) 1/2 Cup Celery (chopped finely) 1/2 tsp Celery seed 1/2 tsp Salt 1/2 Cup grated cheddar cheese 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise Cooking Instructions Precook the macaroni and dice up the veggies,  add all of it into a large bowl and Mix well. Serve with fresh bread or buns.

Recipe for Sourdough Starter

  This is an old recipe for Sourdough Starter mix. Ingredients 2 Cups Flour 1 Package active dry yeast 1 Tablespoon sugar 2 Cups warm water Cooking Instructions Mix in a bowl the flour yeast and sugar, make sure it is a nonmetal bowl. Stir in the water. Cover and let stand in a warm place for 48 hours. It will bubble and expand, make sure the bowl is large. To use , stir it well prior to using,  take out the required amounts and use as directed. Add 1 Cup of flour and 1 Cup of warm water after using. Mix till smooth, let it stand until bubbly, then refrigerate again until next use.

  Tasty Tomato and Onion Salad Ingredients 1/2 Cup Olive Oil 1/4 Cup Wine Vinegar 2 teaspoons garlic (minced) 2 Tablespoons basil (chopped) 2 Tablespoons parsley (chopped) 1/2 Pound of Sliced Tomatoes 1/2 Red Onion Sliced thinly Cooking Instructions In a large bowl mix together the oil, vinegar, garlic, basil, parsley and a bit of salt and pepper. Whisk for about 2 minutes or until well blended. Place the tomato slices and onions into a bowl and pour the sauce over top and toss gently. Serve as a side dish or a main lunch dish with bread and cheese.

  Pizza dough recipe for a couple medium size pizzas or one large. Ingredients 3 Cups Flour 1 Package active dry Yeast 1 teaspoon Salt 1 Cup warm water 2 tablespoons vegetable oil  Cooking Instructions In large bowl, mix together 1 1/4 cups of flour, yeast and salt.  Stir in the water and oil and beat for a few minutes, scrape the bowl while stirring. Stir in the remaining flour and turn onto a floured surface and knead until dough is smooth and elastic. (about 10 minutes) Cover and let rest at least 10 minutes prior to use. Roll out on floured surfaces to form desired pizza crust sizes.

Fast and Delicious Kale and Sausage Meal Ingredients 1 Bag of Fresh Kale, cooked to make 2 cups 3 pounds of Potatoes 1 pound of Farmer's Sausage Cooking Instructions In large pot add peeled and cut potatoes,  add water and sausage and cook until potatoes  are tender and sausage is cooked. Mash the potatoes and kale together, mix well. Serve potato mash with sausage on the side.  Add butter, salt and pepper for flavoring.

Homemade Egg Noodles

Homemade Egg Noodles for drying or cooking right away. Ingredients 2 eggs 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup flour Cooking Instructions In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and salt, then gradually add in 1 Cup of the flour and mix until a soft dough is formed.   Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead in the rest of the flour to form a stiff ball of dough. Cover the dough and let it rest for about 15 minutes. Roll dough out as thin as possible, turning it over as you roll it out, making a large rectangular shape. Make a jelly roll type of roll up with the rectangle and cut into thin slices. Toss these to separate Spread out on a baking sheet, tossing periodically until they are completely dry. Once Dry store in containers until needed. Cook fresh pasta by adding to 4 cups boiling water and a pinch of salt. Cook until pasta floats to the top, usually 3 - 6 minutes, depending on thickness. Drain and serve with favorite sauce.

Amazing Spinach Dip Recipe Ingredients 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated) 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese (grated) 1 tsp garlic 1/8 tsp onion powder 10 oz frozen spinach (thawed, drained) 6 oz artichoke hearts (chopped) 1 Cup Tomatoes (chopped) Ingredients Grease lightly a shallow casserole dish. Combine all the ingredients, except tomatoes, and place into the casserole dish. Bake at 325 F for 20 minutes, cool and keep refrigerated until ready to eat. Should last for a few days in the fridge if kept in sealed container. Use the chopped tomatoes for a nice garnish to serve with your dip. Breads, crackers, tortilla chips and other similar types of foods are delicious for a dipping tool.

 Coffee Apple Cake Ingredients 1/2 Cup Margarine 1 Cup Sugar 2 Eggs (beaten) 1 Cup Sour Cream 1 teaspoon Vanilla 2 Cups Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Powder 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1 Apple (diced) Topping 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 1 teaspoon Cinnamon 2 Tablespoons Flour 2 Tablespoons margarine(melted) Cooking Instructions In a large bowl mix together the margarine, sugar and beat until fluffy.  Add in the eggs, vanilla and sour cream, and beat well.  Add the Flour, baking powder and soda and blend well. Make the topping by mixing the brown sugar, cinnamon, flour and melted butter. Put half of the mixture into pan and half of the topping, then apples. Add the remaining half of mixture and remaining half of topping. Bake at 350 F  45 minutes, delicious warm or cool.
